M61 expected behavior was created by mydani
Hello all,
asking the experienced guys - what is your expectation of M61 command?
M61 shall "only" change the tool number of the current tool in spindle but not update the offsets of the current tool in spindle from the tool table? Or would you expect that M61 also sets the offsets from the table accordingly?
Regards,
Daniel

M61 only changes the tool without the prompt for tool change if you have that installed. Otherwise it has the same behaviour as M6.
