my machine is running ok on axis but now when i open gmoccapy i just cant find its configration files does anyone know where are they located
also ~~~ my pc suddenly stopped showing Usr directory in etc if anyone knows the reason most welcome to help :p

usr in etc ? It would be weird if it was there.

you should have /usr

why dident you just copy the folder of the mashine
and give it a DISPLAY change

make shure no pyvcp panel is in config
a basic config can at any time be changed from axis to gmoccapy

/home/yourname/linuxcnc/configs

exactly how can i get my usr folder back i installed linux cnc again also updated it but same problem occures i cant see my etc/usr/share

You may have Messed up with SUDO

BEST is to start over with a frech clean Harddrive or patition
and a new iso
or go to
gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/uspace/debian9-emc.html
This side provides the latest info as of uspace and 2.8 also qtvcp Gui

there is no /etc/usr/share

there is:
/etc
/usr
/usr/share
