Homing Routine was created by Jasper 3
Hey,
I've a question: Is it possible to change the homing direction if the switch wasn't tafter e.g 5mm. At least it would be nice to stop the routine automatically. Move the axis and than try again?
Thanks alot and best regards
Jasper

the homing is supost to start inside the belived area
if you got the homeswitch outside or in the middle you need to make shure after Work /bevor mashine off to get the mashine there
i personly use a Button for this but you can also make a shutdown.ngc and start at power off in the ini file
to your question
NO it is always a run towards the switch till it is hit
the Direction is changable
so
say Switch at MIN move minus
switch ax max move pos
you got parameters
Home is the pos mashine end up after drip
offset is the mashine pos of the switch acording to G53
the 2 speeds first drip and then latch speed
the final speed to home if your switch is somwhere main used for 4th axis as the Switch is outwards and the Home is moast center
also the sequence number as you may like to change Z First then X Y
or maybe Z A C Y X
up to you

I can not find any situation where that would be useful, but plenty where that would leave the machine running back and forth indefinitely.
It most probably can be done, but I can help with that.
