Hi I just did a clean upgrade to debian 10 and want to reinstall linuxcnc simulator, the notes I found to do this don't work as git cannot enter the link.
Is there a later set of instructions that could help?

Thanks
Eric

I installed the key etc and created the sources.d list file then updated and tried it a couple of times but I get 'Package linuxcnc-sim is not available' regardless of which source I use.

any ideas?

Created ?!
No creation, they should be in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list
or you create
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/linuxcnc-buildbot.list
and put in the deb links
Update
Install

Use the stretch links, they should work.

did all this, created linuxcnc-buildbot.list in sources.list.d, added the strech repositories. updated and then did apt install linuxcnc-sim but nothing found, also did an apt-cache search linuxcnc-sim and again nothing found except documents and a uspace component.

Perhaps it has been removed for some reason?

I'll try again in a few days.

You want a reinstall of the simulator... Why?
Have you got git installed? Git cannot enter a link, sounds confusing to me.
What dou you want to achieve with Git? Do you want to compile the simulator from source?

I lost the functionality of linuxcnc-sim when I did a clean install (upgrade failed) so I want to reinstall linuxcnc, the notes I found related to using git, but the latest notes regarding buildbot.linuxcnc.org is what I followed. see above posts for result

linuxcnc-sim no longer exists.

linuxcnc-uspace will work with any kernel, and will report "Using POSIX realtime" or "Using POSIX non-realtime"

So just install the uspace version and you should be good to go.
