Replied by pl7i92 on topic Ball Screw alignment problem
and where is the problem
if you got spare torque on the steppers do a hard bearing tight fit
this gives stiffness on non dirt mashines

Ballscrew should be parallel to lathe bed way?

Yes, very.
Any misalignment will cause friction and premature wear of the balls and the screw, to much misalignment will bend the screw rendering it useless.
