File navigation not working in Stretch Axis

Anyone else seeing this? I'm running the stretch distribution. All Synaptic is up to date. I also run dropbox which is up to date. When I use the open file dialog it takes me to the nc_files directory and will allow me to navigate up the directory hierarchy, but not down. Everything is fine using the file manager - just Axis displaying the problem.

if you select a folder to go down (inside) you may need to press ok

this will work

nc_files is the operation folder as it showes all the links to mcodes and featuers
this needs to be for the spetial gui's like Dragon gscreen gmocappy .... that cand find there needs from a other folder

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t see an “ok” button in the dialog box, though there is an “open” button which of course I had tried to no avail.

The situation is resolved though and I’ll note the resolution here for posterity. Much to my chagrin, I have learned that file dialog navigation only works when LCNC is in manual mode, not when it is in MDI mode. Can’t believe I hadn’t tripped over this years before now, but there it is.
