Did some reading in the manual regarding the webcam/camera thing.

I would like a tab with at view of what the machine is doing.

I'm currently using gmoccapy.

The manual states that "camview" is no longer supported.."just look on the forum, there is a lot of alternatives".......

#insert mental image of John Travolta looking around himself from PulpFiction#...

I cant find enything on here that makes sense to me. (the addition of "camview" seemed to be fairly understandable to me)

Can enyone give me a push in a simple direction to adding a usb webcam/camera tab?

www.google.com/search?q=camview+site%3Al....11.1913.etdHX5WSSDE

Plenty of info there. Well here on this forum, but google does a bettet job at finding them, you just need to point it in the right direction.
Regards,
Tom.

I know Google... I'm looking for an alternative to camview.
Might even be a "how a forum user did it"

You just need to embed a program in the tab. I've forgotten the one I used ages ago in Axis, but you could add come parameters to the command line to draw rectangles over the image so by drawing a rectangle from the bottom corner to the centre point and from the top corner to the centre point, you could create crosshairs.

Sorry, missed that.
Did you have a look through those posts, maybe there is something about an alternative there.
