gedit was created by jensor
I am setting up a another pc with linuxcnc using axis 2.7.14 and I would like to install Gedit that I am used to using on my first PC.
Using Synaptic package Manager, I have not been able to find it.
How do I get it or do I need to find another another text editor and learn to use?
I am using the Debian interface.

I've started using Geany instead of Gedit.
sudo apt install geany
