Mapping keyboard keys to game controller buttons

Hello!

I have successfully managed to get a Logitech f710 game controller to work as a cheap pendant for my 3-axis router, and I am quite happy with it. What I feel is missing, is the ability to scroll through and run the last few MDI commands at a distance. Is there a way to map arrow keys and the ENTER key to a game controller?

Thank you so much for your time :)

Yes my system currently works very much like the system in your video. I have also used classicladder for further functionality.

However I would like to be able to scroll and actuate MDI history using my controller, so what I had in mind is to link controller buttons to keyboard UP/DOWN keys and "ENTER" key.

wih the new 2.9 master you got access to the linenumbers and keys so you need to be at the last master

but you can write a simple python comp that accesses the keys and let you connect to the controller via your own hal pin
