Bob's Biesse 341 retrofit was created by bevins

Hi my name is Bob and I am a machine addict......

I picked up this beast today. They quoted me 2500 to deliver it. It was 2 hours away, so I went and opicked it up with my truck and trailor.

And trailor and machine backed in m y shop....

I checked it already. Quad encoders going to the control, DC Servos, PWME drives with tach and +-10v velocity control.

32 remote relays.

Looks like a job for 5i25/7i77 - 7i74 - and two 7i84's.

Same VFD green I have in my other Biesse, icontrol or something like that. Same HSD spindles. so no problem there.

take some time to let the system be temp Neutral
and as well bend to its new location
not that good to travel in a wet invirerment

is it a transport company or like TV Transporter USA Service that got the mashine to you

lol, thats me. My lift could not lift the machine. Had to use the lift of my neighbor.

It has these remote rs-485 I/O. I think I will just put a couple 7i84's in their place. Should do the trick.

The encoders should not be a problem.
