Wiring Fuse for DC Mesa7i76e was created by CNCFred
Dear all,
Since my 7i76e smoked the Mesa contact suggested to use 1 or 2 A fuse for DC.

I added the fuse for both DC inputs.
Interesting! on the wiring diagram nobody seems to have a fuse for DC.
Regards

It's very interesting that your board smoked. Why it's smoked, can you explaine more detailed?
What PS are you used?

Definetly you should set fuse on outputs and not inputs, also you obliged to control condition of them. For example connect in paralel to fuse a 24V Relay, or connect directly to input with that purpose - if your fuse damegees than sends E-stop signal to machine.

I also had dameged board in the past but problem was another:
High voltage shorted to low side in one of servodrives by reason of moisture. It's dameged for me all MESA boards but another servodrives and PC was in fine conditions.
