INI goes to VIM was created by upcut4d
I have modified Denford Starmill , changing all electronics, no problems. Loaded version 2.7.14 and have completed Stepconf Wizard and everything appears to be good. Now l go to the INI file to change offsets and l get coloured text in VIM, somethings wrong ! Help, thanks.

What is the problem ?
Having colors in text editors is not a problem, most of them do that so it is easier to follow stuff while editing.

Ok, that sounds good, however if l try to change the value offset by highlighting then deleting, l cannot add a number! Or if l highlight the type a number, it doesn't work! Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Geany easy
Geany not be made by the dumbs

Seriously geany is a great editor
Or if you prefer a console text editor , install mc (midnight commander).
Start mc find you file, press F4 on your highlighted file and start editing. I tend to do most things with mc
