				Hi all,
I have a CNC that is having a problem. One AC servo on it I can move it by hand by pushing on the axis. It moves a little bit. I can see it in the cuts as there are some waves. I dont know if this is a bad servo or just poorl;y tuned. If I jack up the P in the pid would that help? The P is at 30. This is a 1.8kw Yaskawa ac servo with a CACR servopack also Yaskawa
It is running a 5i25-7i77 and a couple more cards. I though about the drive, but there are no errors on the drive.
What should I look atÉ Jacking the P to see if it tightens up?

Yes, this does sound like an under-tuned drive. You might need more P and more I.
