Tool Compensation for Hotwire-Machine was created by Maltinho
When trying to use tool-compensation with my hotwire foam cutter to compensate for wire-thickness and the melted zone around it only the xy-coordinate system is affected, the uv-system just seems to ignore it.
I am using the following lines:
G10 L1 P1 R0.5
T1 M6
in conjunction with G41 / G42 after the first G0 move.
Is there any way to turn on tool compensation for the uv-plane as well?
Otherwise it would be useless of course...
Thanks for any help!
