Servo driven tool changer was created by dextaca
Good day gents.
Been a while. Wondering if someone can shed some light on ATC components. The chain has 30 pockets, a servo motor/ reductor is driving the main wheel witch in change moves the chain. Wondering if there is a easy way to incorporate it in the tool changer routines.
Any all info is greatly appreciated.
Peter

You're right
Here we go.. The spindle is a HSD63F spindle, the chain contains tool holders, there are only 3 prox switches, 2 for tool presence , the other one is to count the teeth on the chain for position. Still didn't figure out how the Italians did the general index, the servo is incremental as far as I can see. Might have to add an extra induction switch to create a index mark.
The machine is a Biesse Rover 37L
Thank you
