Using same key to start cycle and do toolchange was created by tko829
I have Linuxcnc running well, but I would like to be able to use the same key that I use to start a machining cycle to also accept a toolchange.
Currently, I am using a VistaCNC Mach 1 pendant. When I get to a tool change in the program, I hit the key combination to start the cycle, but a popup window appears telling me to change the tool. I'm fine with that, I have no problem with redundant checks to avoid crashes. What is frustrating is that I have to click my mouse pointer on the "Continue" box for the program to run. I would like to be able to press the same keys I used to start the cycle to click the "Continue" button.
This would make it operate similar to my Tormach machine with Path Pilot control.
Is there a setting I can change, or is it something deeper?
Thanks in advance for the help!
