I wanted to leave the comment that I had problems with the function { run form here ], I am with linuxcnc 2.7.15 in lathe mode.
it happens that it reads the code but does not execute it, the machine is stopped.

Can you post a program that shows the problem?
Do you use remapped Gcodes or anything exotic like that?
Can you test a simulated configuration to see if it behaves the same?
