Linuxcnc 2.8 switching kinematics natively? was created by 3D-Master
Since Linuxcnc 2.8 is finally out, is the patch from Switchkins natively implemented into Linuxcnc 2.8 to be able to switch from 3 axis trivial to 5 axis simultaneous Kinematics even if the rotary axes are not at 0?
Or short: Can we now switch Kinematics on the fly?

Switchkins has not been merged into 2.8 or master. If you need to switch kinematics you have to build the switchkins branch.

'Switchable kinematics' has since been merged with master (aka 2.9pre)
