location issue with plasma table

Okay this may sound like a dumb question but i feel like i am cutting everything in the area near where i am homed in front left corner of the table and getting water all over floor because i am so close to the edge of the table. Can i just move to the center for instance and touchoff zero on my x and y and cut there(smaller parts of course) or will this cause me issues?

You can touch off any where you like. I do the same to stop the water splashing .
