I'm trying to set up my toolsetter, but when I try to attach a net to the motion probe input, LinuxCNC says "Pin 'motion.probe-input' does not exist.

`spindle` seems to exist, as does `joint`. Also, I can see it in the HAL config monitor. I'm very confused.

Okay WTH. It seems that if I just try it a few times, launching and relaunching linuxcnc with the offending line commented out or uncommented, eventually it just sees it. I tried again, just for yucks, and now it accepts it. This is not the first time linuxcnc has behaved like this. It seems to happen quite a lot.

Strange since i use LinuxCNC daily for over 10 years, but i have never seen this, when it works it works, when it does not no ammount of restart/relaunch will help without fixing things.
Are there any error logs or did you notice any other issues with the PC not related to LinuxCNC ?
Failing memory or memory controller can cause such issues.
