halui.jog has been removed in version 2.8 but there are still references to it in the 2.8 docs as reported here:

forum.linuxcnc.org/24-hal-components/404...ys57e?start=0#187526

However I think it would make more sense to report it somewhere more visible. But where?

Replied by BeagleBrainz on topic Where should one report errors in the documentation
This gives you some options linuxcnc.org/community/
Remember the forum isn't the only source of info regarding Linuxcnc, there is also the main website.
Or you can try the Linuxcnc github

The correct place is on git hub issues register
github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues

I've had a few documentation bugs fixed very quickly that way..
