Plasma setup was created by htdave
Hey guys.
I've got a newbie question
I'm slowly converting my plasma over to Linuxcnc.
I'm running a mesa 7i76eD and Odroid H2+.
I have been through the pnc setup and can move axes in the pnc setup.
I haven't setup any io pins yet, apart from the drives
When I load lcnc, i can't move anything. What am i missing to get moving?
I haven't installed plasmac yet
Also, I can't get wifi to connect. It shows up with strong signal, but whenever I try to connect, it keeps asking for password, even though password is correct. Ethernet connects fine.
Running Linux mint
Thanks

Attaching your config files could help.
As for wifi, i have no clue, i use Mint on all my PC and Laptops and never have issues with it.

I don't have any wifi at the moment, and can't get usb drive to work, so can't upload config files.
I have got all axes moving nicely, but limit switches are not working. How do i workout pinot of 7i76eD in pncconf relative to input 0-24 and output 0-24 on the mesa?

When looking at the manual, the IO pins are counted from the bottom up, so the first physical pin on the connector is input 00, same for outputs.

All sorted now.
I didn't have the 7i76ED powered up properly.
I have run out of time and parts now, so will have to put the project on hold for a month.
Thanks everyone for their help

The Wifi issue might be that the system is set to the wrong passkey type (hex rather than password, for example)

How do you change the passkey type? - I have done nothing with linux before, so this is all a steep learning curve.
Thanks

It depends on your setup, but do you have a network connection icon top-right of the screen? You can click on that, then change to (probably) "WPA 1/2 Passphrase" under the properties button of the relevant network.
