probe offset and tool length probe hal signal names

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this.

I am having trouble locating the .hal signal name for the tool length sensor.
I have motion.probe-input in use for my work piece offset.

I am using probe basic with mesa 7i96.

About a year ago Andypugh wrote this:

GREAT! but i do not understand this. I understand the software is acting like an or gate. so it will allow for either signal go high.

Let me try from a different angle.

What signal name does Probe_Basic look for when using tool setter? Or how do i find that signal name?
