Using M64 command for a relay trigger was created by Hamel2020
Hi Guys ..
Trying to trigger a 24v relay by M64 P0 G-code , I did the following , but unfortunately always no signal from the pin [ No.7 ]
1. I checked the polarity, was correct.
2. I tried the two types of wiring as attached.
3. Trying the out put on hal meter : it was ok , for bot True & False for M64 P0 , M65 P0
But the problem I’m not able to get the 24V , also can’t invert the signal
4. Used the hal :
net relay-on motion.digital.out-00 => hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.output-07
setp hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.output-07 – invert true
Any advice please …
Thanks

Probably best to attach your hal and ini files.

Above you have output 7, while in hal output 6 ???
Where is the relay wired on the 7i76E ? What physical pin ?
Output 7 should be the last pin on the right most column.

Hi Tom ,
thank you for reply , Actually was mistake in typing the letter, it was the pin (No. 6 ),
and the connection was on the pin 6 the second one
here is the revised drawing

Hi, check the TB1 connector. It looks like Vfield gnd is connected to NC.
Also it says only Vfield need to be powered and the jumper will power Vin. Not the other way, yes it is pedantic but if one is looking for reasons so maybe?

Are you sure you have the correct pin?
output 7 would be the top pin of TB6
(and you have output 6 in the hal file)
