Hello
Well I got it boot this far. Maybe some weird latency issue or improper settings? I reran the latency test and it's still around 40000. It says something about a count fault count pin where would I see that?
Thanks
Jamie

From your ini file:
SERVO_PERIOD = 45000
That should never be under 1000000 or 1 million, only if testing something with the Mesa boards itself.
Set that to 1 mill and test, report back.

Yes that was it, I some how got the Idea I should put the latency number in there. One other question the encoders don't show on 7i77 board in pncconf do they need power on them to read/ they are set to differential right now six wires a/b/c +/- plus a ground.
Thanks
Jamie

I got the encoders working, at least they move now just need to put in proper numbers, but was just wondering about them showing on the i/o connect tab.
Thanks

They do not show on the IO tabs, they show on the first 7i77 page where the axis are set up.
The only latency number that needs entering or changing is the Base_period when using parallel port, Servo_period should not be changed.

So I'm trying to run the test and tune and got this error. I have all the encoders reading. I included a shot of the error and also some io pages , I tried to launch the test panel on these pages and nothing happeneds.

Do not use pncconf for tuning, if i remember correctly it is for open loop testing, but i never used it.
