booting to the command line was created by AdamD
I was working on getting my touchscreen calibrated. Now it boots to the command line. I have typed startx and got fatal server error Caught signal 6

You are not going to get any answers without alot more information.
This is equivalent to saying that you worked on your car and now it won't start.
We don't even know what car you were working on.

Usually that means an error in xorg.conf. Did you create one?

I took a picture of my screen after startx but can figure out how you attach a picture
