Input Status polling Mesa 7176e

Hi Group,
I have a system setup and running with Debian 9/Mesa 7176e. This system is controlled through a Python script utilizing the linuxcnc module/NML commands.

I would like to read the status of inputs 11, 12, 13, and 14 on the Mesa with the above mentioned Python Script. Does anyone know how to go about reading a discrete input on the Mesa using the linuxcnc module?
