Yes, the fallback configuration is only used if the normal user configuration fails to load
Doesn't look like the analog out is connected to the drive at all

7I77 AGND --> DRIVE AIN-
7I77 ENA+ and 7I77 ENA- are the two terminals of a switch
that should enable the drive when "on"

That look basically right except you have ENA- and ENA+ swapped

Note that you have a 50% chance of having the feedback reversed
so you get an instant runaway
If the encoder direction and scale are correct
you fix reversed feedback by changing the sign
of the analog output (the scalemax parameter)
