Running Linux CNC With No Card Attached For Testing Purposes was created by umfan110
How's it going guys !
Title pretty much says it all. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to run Linux cnc without a card attached. I have a laptop running linuxcnc connected with a MESA 7i76E and it works great ! But when I am inside my house I would like to start messing around with the UI and vcp concepts running the OS within a virtual box. Is there any way I can tell it to ignore connecting to the card or is there some kind of debug mode?
Thanks !
All the best

There are quite a few examples that are simulated machines you can play around with, these accessed via the Linuxcnc menu entry under "CNC"
