Hi
Just joined and would like to know if it is advisable to build diy cnc as my other endevours have failed this was using Mach3 software
could not get on with at all nothing worked
No problem building m\c but trying to run it from the software was a nightmare can you help?

This is a bit vague. Can we have more detailed info on what you want to do and info on your machine?

Most folk agree that Mach3 is easier to get going than LinuxCNC.
But LinuxCNC is probably more adaptable, so if the problems were that your machine wasn't a good fit for LinuxCNC, then LinuxCNC might help.
