Homing x axis-limit switch

Well, my cnc machine needs to home in the negative direction of X and Y, so in the .ini file I changed the sign of home search velocity and that's ok, then, when I send to home Y, works correctly since after I pressed the home switch in the negative direction of Y everything it's normal, but when I pressed the X home switch doesn't respond, my configuration takes my home switch in the positive direction (my maximum limit switch), but I don't know why if my configuration in the .hal file are the same for both axis. What do I need to interchange the switches in my X axis. I'm a little confused, I hope to be clear. Thanks
