Strange stepper issue at startup was created by Gregor96
Hi,
I'm new to the forum so excuse me for any mistakes
I have a very strange issue with parallel BOB and DM542 driver. Sometimes at startup the steppers spin in the wrong direction, the moving some other axis and in the direction is travelling when wrong solves the issue, then once solved it doesn't have any issues when running, it might happen that the issue comes back even by only glossing and opening LinuxCNC again. I'm running the latest version.
Thanks for the support Gregor

I would check the BOB direction output voltage
when moving both directions it may be marginal.
Also check the BOB 5V supply voltage.
