Guys, I'm having trouble configuring the 7i84 on the 7i76. This message is appearing as an attachment. First I thought it was power, I played 24v on all pins (1 to 5)TB1 of 7i84 the message continues. After I took the RJ45 cable (J1, 7i84), the message persists. Then I checked the pin sequence of the 7i76E TB3, RS-422 board (GND, RX-, RX+, TX-, TX+ and 5V) with the 7i84 on J1, RJ-45 (attachment) and continues with the same message. Has anyone had any problem with this?

What LEDs are illuminated on the 7I84?
Is the7I76E a "C" Rev card?
Has the 7I76E firmware been changed? (from the original installed firmware)

Hello PCW,
On 7i84 I have an image attached. On 7i76e did not understand your second question? The 7i76e firmware remains original.

the 7i84 and the 7i76 is not communicating. green led on the 7i84 should start to blink.
My guesses will be the Ethernet cable and the wiring. First check the cable has standard Ethernet color sequence on the rj45 jack.
then check the connections. I believe you might need to switch the RX, TX pair around.
Look at this on the 7i76 manual (attached image)

Thanks for the tip, previously I had inverted the RX+ between RX- and the TX+ between TX-. Now I followed your guidance and inverted the two RX between the TX and it worked. Thanks
