Although my first set of Mesa cards was annoying in that regard. I was sent a variety of cards free of charge (and unexpectedly) as I was working on the Hostmot2 drivers. For some reason they were shipped with a stated value twice what they were really worth, and I ended up with a sizable VAT / customs / handling fee for some hardware that I hadn't even ordered. :-/

Many of them found their way in to projects in the meantime, so I am over it now.

That package should have been labelled professional samples or something like that.

Engineering sample.
@Andy, nice, i paid more that the card costs for DHL !
Just goes to show that i live in a cr@ppy country for a lot of things, i was sure the post office will take it and loose it promptly, but they did not bother taking it so it saved them from having to loose it ! :)

I've ordered it from mesa in the US for delivery to NYC, a friend will bring it over next month. Its just too expensive to buy from the EU for delivery to the UK now. Most businesses don't want the hassle and custom declarations charges (even ignoring vat and duty) are a killer.
