missing libgtk-3-0 package was created by szatri
Hello, I am installing mpg xhc-whb04b-6 on debian 7 wheezy and I have a problem with the package:it is not present in my repositories in version 3.22.4I downloaded a deb package but I can not install
debian.pkgs.org/9/debian-main-amd64/libg....11-1_amd64.deb.html
packages.debian.org/pl/source/sid/gtk+3.0
I downloaded the tar from here and unpacked it, I don't know what to do with it
download.gnome.org/sources/gtk+/
PS:
I will add that how to add repositories from debian stretch (there is in the required version), after downloading and updating the system has not started anymore
checking for glib... yes - 2.32.4
checking for GTK 3.22.4 or above... no
configure: error: GTK3 missing. Install with "sudo apt install libgtk-3-dev" or specify --disable-gtk to skip the parts of LinuxCNC that depend on GTK

Which LinuxCNC version are you trying to compile? LinuxCNC "master" no longer supports Wheezy. (partly because Wheezy went out of support 5 _years_ ago)

hi, i use wheezy because it works stably with my lpt port (the port is integrated with the motherboard), apparently newer ones don't work like that with lpt pott. I tried with Xbuntu 18.04, the latency test is around 60,000, apparently on the verge of efficient operation (even when I run the test, the computer is terribly busy with this real-time kernel.) (In the case of whrezzy it worked normally)
I use this instruction to install mpg:
translate.google.com/translate?sl=pl&tl=...stemie-debian-7.html
I have a problem with the command:
sudo ./configure
reply:

configure: error: GTK3 missing. Install with "sudo apt install libgtk-3-dev" or specify --disable-gtk to skip the parts of LinuxCNC that depend on GTK

You should be able to compile and run LinuxCNC 2.8 on Wheezy. This is the current released version.
If you have a git clone, then just "git checkout 2.8" and it should build on Wheezy.
Or, you can get a pre-built .deb file image from buildbot.linuxcnc.org

i use Lcnc version 2.9 pre but it doesn't matter anymore.
Only installing debian 9 or debian10 solves this problem with the wrong file version.
