What are the more promising products that can be made based on LinuxCNC?
The competition of CNC machines is so fierce.
There are also many manufacturers of engraving machines, laser cutting, etc.
I also saw CNC foam carving machines and robot controllers, etc.
Is there a new promising direction to mess around with Linux based CNC?

CNC in space !

Already done also, so not much left ... till we start mining other planets.
Home printing is currently big news, 3D printing is all over, and everybody and it's are in on it.
So just pick one and stick with it.
