How to do Automatic Tuning?

Hello Forum,

I see in some YouTube video of Automatic Tuning, They run some sort of program, the actuator move too and fro for some times and the controller automatically gets the PID parameters for the actuator. It's really magic for me at least, I am struggling with manual tuning and having very tough time with it. Anyhow, I reduced my following error within 40 micro-meter and having little overshoot at the end.

Please give me the idea and resources to work on Automatic Tuning with LinuxCNC.
