GScreen encountered an Error

Hi all - posting this for my father. His plasma software was working perfectly fine then he went on vacation and now he is receiving an error message (error attached). His router works but his plasma keyboard does not. He is a small business and is panicking on late orders. 

Does the plasma profile need to be reloaded, if so how? Is this a common error? ANY and ALL help is appreciated. 

Can you post his config files?
Any thing change between running before vacation to after (did he update anything?)

if he didn't update anything on the software side - then I would suspect hardware problems -I would do a memory check.

Hard to advise as thats not much to go on.

Thanks for the quick feedback! I am planning to go over to his house tomorrow afternoon, will see if I can get configuration files. I had asked him if he updated software prior to leaving - he said no. He bought a new computer with updated software - that did not fix it either.

ok some details of how the error occurs would help too.
The message implies that something asked for a shutdown.- which is odd.
