I'm in the middle of building a coustom CNC router and unsure on what path to take when it come to the control side of things.
Option 1 is I have a dell desk top with parallel port and I have a break out board
Or
Option 2 I have a raspberry pi 4 (2GB) with a 5" touch screen, but im unsure on what type of hats to useCan you run parallel port off a pi or would there be any other options that would work better (only asking as I have two parallel brake out boards all ready)
Iv got 3 NEMA 24 stepper motors and driversdriver,
I would like to use the pi as then I can keep it all contained in one inclosure and also less fans sucking in dust.
