Problems with the "Linux CNC" control board was created by tuzki
Hello everyone, this is my first question.
I like Linux CNC very much.
Because I am in China, it is difficult for me to buy the control board on the "mesa Electronics" website.
So I want to ask if there are any other good control boards to use. In addition, I don't want to use the parallel port of PC
thanks~~~

I would rather decide how to buy a mesa card than how to replace it. In our country, they agree on a discussion cnc forum and we buy them bargainly. Or you can use EtherCAT components. You only need a recommended network card, but EtherCAT components are more expensive and more difficult to study than STEP / DIR components.

I know this board. I've heard a lot of people talk about it, but I can't buy this control board in China.
In China, no merchant sells this control board .........

I am from the Czech Republic (Europe) and we also do not have a dealer. (We have Duzi, but he never has anything in stock)
You have to buy 10 pieces of Mesa 7i96 from the USA. 9 pcs for sale. If you buy it for 10 pieces, the price will be acceptable even with postage. You don't have to worry about not selling the 9 remaining cards. It is the cheapest way to reliably operate small CNCs.

I wanted to write to tuzki that it's easier to solve a distributor problem than to solve a parallel port problems.
Don't know when eusurplus.com was founded? At the time when I was buying my first Mesa, there were e-shops in the EU, but they were very overpriced.
