Hello.. I have got a router configured using parallel port, and using gmoccapy.. the board details attached.
I am trying to add some buttons for operator convenience (operator is not computer friendly & buttons are more easy option). Hence to increase number of inputs, I added second parallel port (input mode) i.e pin no.1,14,16,17 are output and all others (i.e pin no. 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,15) are inputs. Second parallel port is added to PCIe slot (probably PCIe 4.0) as motherboard is having only one parallel port.
Now, the input pin no.11,12,13,15 are working (i checked in HAL pin watch window, yellow round signals are changing state when I short ground to the respective pins). Output pin no.14,16,17 are working also (checked voltage in multimeter). but rest of the input pins are not providing any response in HAL pin watch window, hence not working in practice.
Can any one give any solution??

That breakout is unidirectional
LinuxCNC's Input mode will make the parallel
port data pins (2 through 9) inputs but that breakout
has only outputs on these pins
