updating linuxCNC from 2.8.0 to 2.8.2 was created by sibelius
Hi everyone
I saw that linuxCNC 2.8.2 is available so I download it and I m going to install this version on a new desktop.
At the moment I am running linuxCNC 2.8.0 on my laptop and I would like to upgrade to the 2.8.2.
My question is: Can I follow the same steps in this link ?
Thanks in advance
Regards,
V.

Thanks Tommy
I actually forgot to say that the desktop does not have internet connection.
so what i did was to install linuxCNC 2.8.2 from a CD.
At certain point in the installation I had to skip the part related to the mirror so my installation is very basic, for example does not have package like network-manager-gnome.
There is any chance to get an offline deb package to complete the installation ?
Thanks again
