G54-G59 Fixture offset problem - not updating

Hello, i have noticed some issues when using G54-G59 in my gcode, mainly that when gcode contains a fixture change linuxcnc reverts to G54 automatically after program completion (which i believe is correct) but Axis doesn't update and still reflects the old fixture selection. This results in severe confusion when trying to set new tool offsets or zero points as they are not (necessarily?) stored in the fixture selection shown in the GUI but rather G54. The only way i've found to make sure you're in a certain fixture is to manually jump in between say G54 and G59 two times and then the GUI will indeed reflect what's going on. Bug?
