It's just that I'm not fully familiar with the amplifiers you are using and I am relying on your stated objective with respect to the enable/inhibit signal. Your wiring will work as intended, if it turns out you need to pull to ground then nothing will have been harmed.
I do strongly recommend that you disconnect the motors from the ballscrews when first powering up to confirm all is working as expected. A runaway motor could definitely cause damage if it catches you by surprise.

Ok I will do that. I knew what you were saying too I was just laughing because I dont even know if my own information is correct. Ive dove into this more now and found out more about the amplifiers. I believe we are on the right track. I appreciate the help too. Everything im doing is pretty much new to me but people on this forum are awesome and are nothing but a world of help to me.
