how to script emc from commandline was created by andyorg

I was wondering if it's possible to control emc from commandline like this:

me@home> emc home_all
me@home> emc run gcode_file.ngc my_simple_stepper_config.ini

I thought I found some doku about this but not sure and cant find it anymore...
