LinuxCNC and Laser Engraver

Hi, Dears!
I built a laser engraver and I want to generate g-code for my machine.
I cannot understand, is LinuxCNC only g-code sender or it can generate g-code and I can save it to somewhere?
I use LaserGRBL and MicroNC2 controller now but they are not compatible and I wrote a g-code translator.
I would be satisfied if I have a GRBL compatible g-code.
But I want to simplify my life and I am looking for a good software.
Please, help me.
