Ive looked all over and cant seem to find any documentation that correlates a physical connection to a HAL pin name. Does anybody out there have a complete listing for the Mesa 7i76 to 5I25.

for example on the 7i76
TB3 Pin 2 = hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.output-05
TB3 Pin 3 = hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.output-04
etc. etc.
( I know these are not correct correlations, but just used to convey what im looking for )

You could use my 7i96 Configuration Tool it has a page for pins and what they are. It will also create your configuration files and flash the card if need be and a whole bunch more cool stuff.

Hey BigJohn,
Strangely i was just on your configurator, it mentioned that it wasnt up to date so i didnt know if i should use it or not. Ill give it a shot and see if i can get that information.If i can ill compile a list and repost here just in case somebody else might need it.

Opps you said 7i76 not 7i96, only my 7i92 Configuration tool works with 7i76 and 7i77 daughter cards.

Here is input 0 and input 31 and output 0 and output 15 when connected to a 7i92

net both-limit-joint-0 joint.0.pos-lim-sw-in
net both-limit-joint-0 joint.0.neg-lim-sw-in <= hm2_7i92.0.7i76.0.0.input-00
net lube-level iocontrol.0.lube_level <= hm2_7i92.0.7i76.0.0.input-31

Make a 7i92/7i76 config, edit the .hal file by replacing all entries of 7i92 with 5i25 by using the "search and replace" feature on all GUI text editors (xed, mousepad, geany, etc), and there is another line near the top that has to be changed from hm2_eth to hm2_pci

And remove the IP address part of the config.

I should make that configuration tool for both 5i25/6i25 and 7i92 as they are almost the same.
