Hi,

I finally setup my cnc, everything worked fine for some days.
Once the PC said "a new CPU detected" the step gen stopped working. End-stops are working fine but the step generation didn't.
I've replaced the BIOS battery, the pc was a long time without power before I installed it in my CNC, did a fresh install... but still no step generation.

Is my MESA broken?
I've attached the config files.

I'm happy for every help... thank you!

Step generation may stop if you have a watchdog bite.
Can you check if the watchdog-has-bit pin is true?
(with halshow)

I would check the output voltage levels of the step/dir pins
(first with LinuxCNC not running and then with LinuxCNC
running but not moving.

Measure from STEP- to STEP+ and from DIR- to DIR+

Is there 5V on the TB2 and TB3 5V and GND connections?

If you measure 0V between STEPN+ and STEPN-
or DIRN+ and DIRN- and there is 5V between the
5V and GND pins on P2 and P3 connector, this indicates
that the chips driving the STEP/DIR outputs have been
damaged.
