1 axle receives a signal, both axles move was created by Roger S
Hello everyone, I am using linuxcnc with the Probe Basic Screen. Since today I have the problem that if I give a movement command to the X-axis, for example, the Y-axis moves with it. For example, X moves 200mm, Y moves 10mm. The same also happens when I give the Y-axis a move command. Is it possible that I misaligned something when touching it with the 3D finder?

During jogging or MDI or running gcode?

I noticed the behavior when entering MDI commands. I haven't tried the other one yet

i checked it again. The machine was zeroed (picture 1).

then I jogged the X-axis 100mm. The machine coordinates have not changed, but the workpiece coordinates (Figure 2).
If I move the X-axis with MDI commands, in this case 200mm, the Y-axis moves by almost 8mm (Image 3).
The same thing happens when I traverse the Y axis

If that _is_ the cause then MDIwill fix it.

One possible cause of this is if (somewhow) you have touched-off an R value in a G10 statement.Hello everyone, I am using linuxcnc with the Probe Basic Screen. Since today I have the problem that if I give a movement command to the X-axis, for example, the Y-axis moves with it.

G10 L2 R0

Thank you andypugh! The MDI command "G10 L2 R0" probably reported an error, but it was still the R value. I had deleted this in the offsets but not saved it.
