plasmacam DHC2 was created by JDM83
I just recently purchased a Plasmacam DHC2 table i uploaded all the software that came with it to my desktop computer. When i go to the Plasmacam program it doesn't seem to be right. I know it is very outdated (3.02) and I'm not sure where to start to get this up and going. The more I dig into it the more I realized I jumped on it too quick. Is there a way around their controller and program? Any help or information is appreciated

How about you giving us more information to go on, like PDF if any, pictures of the controller/electronics box, what software does it use ? Or should we run with the assumption that it runs LinuxCNC ? Ok then, what version of LinuxCNC, What GUI? Axis? PlasmaC? QtPlasmaC?Any help or information is appreciated

Still all original Plasmacam software and controller. I bought it used and came with the installation discs. I had an older HP desktop with XP that still in good shape. I installed the Axxon LF1119KB PCIe board because it didn't have the port to connect to the controller. I installed it and just cant get it to work. I've read that being the older 3.02 version may be my problem and was wondering what direction I need to take next. Would linuxcnc software help me?

Plasmacam is a proprietory system. The motors use some kind of serial communicatons.
You should approach them to transfer the license to you. Software upgrades are available but costly.
